We took the night bus from Isfahan to Tehran and if course one of the chairs didn’t work and since I am usually quite easy with where I sleep I was asked to take that seat. Little sleep and swollen feet later we arrived in Tehran where we went for coffee, Shisha and food in the city. Tehran with its 15 million people is crazy big and busy and all the smog makes the inner city rather unattractive. Nonetheless there is plenty of nice little cafes, restaurants and places to spend some time. Or you go to the huge park they’ve created in the city center with its colourful lightplays, flowers and fountains. One step further but still right in the city you then find the mountains with their long hiking paths, thousands of restaurants in the trees and little shops that get their deliveries from donkeys since there are no more roads accessible for cars.

the traffic is crazy so that now (5 hours before our flight leaves) we are already on our way to the 55 km far away airport.

malaysia, I can’t wait
